House Arrest

The policeman places a house under arrest.  No need for handcuffs, he surmizes, besides–where would they best fit?  The house isn’t going to bullet, he says to himself.  But then he thinks of the over-crowded jail cells–impossible–and how overwhelmed the courtroom would be–aghast the judge–and even though the house could fit nicely in the stretchyard at the state prison–where would the other prisoners so stretch?  No, it will never do to arrest this house, he decides.

[Diatribe for the hard-of-perceiving:  The policeman in this instance being the US;  house being Muslim nations.  The judge is world opinion now, and the judgment of history.  The idea that capitalism can transform the Muslim religion into a commodity.  The postbox the muslim world’s interface with the non-Muslim world–doormat is Palistine–Israel is the witness.  Your mind is your mind...]
